Prep is underway for the next Interschools Challenge Ski Race at Southampton Alpine Centre Ski Slope on the 17 May 2020. To support this there will be a Ski Slalom training day at Southampton Alpine Centre Ski Slope on the 10 May 2020 – separate add and entry form to follow.
Entries will be accepted on a first come first served basis. Please ensure that you have the minimum number of racers in your team before entering.
Entry will close at midnight on Sunday 10 May and late entries will not be accepted under any circumstances. This is because there is a large amount of race preparation required by the volunteers, who have to fit it in to their normal lives!
All participants must be able to use the lift unaided and descend, in control, from the top of the slope. Long sleeves, long trousers and gloves must be worn. Helmets are compulsory but are available from the Southampton Alpine Ski Centre at no additional charge.
Each school team is required to provide a volunteer to help out with the race on the day.
Snowsports England (SSE) Members (either a member of SASA or another SSE affiliated ski club): £13
Non SSE Members £16 (to cover the SSE day insurance)
