SASA Alpine Race Training Camps / Alpine Race Support - Athlete Safety

Please be aware that the following rules will apply to all SASA athletes at SASA Race Training Camps or in receipt of Alpine Race Support from a SASA coach.  These rules are for the safety of the athletes and will be applied without exception.  If you are in any doubt please speak to the SASA coaches:

1.    All athletes must have suitable race / race training insurance.

2.    All athletes wishing to train and / or race at any SASA training camp and or Governing Body Alpine Race must have the correct equipment.

3.    It is the responsibility of the athlete or athlete's parent that they have the correct equipment to train or race. This includes helmets, cat suits, skis, poles and back protectors.

4.    It is the coaches decision if you can race / train or not.  If the coaches feel the athlete is not competent enough, or has the wrong equipment to compete in a race or to train, they have the authority to withdraw the athlete from that race or training session.

In addition, alll SASA members are expected to adhere to the Skiers Code at all times.
