Once again we have negotiated with the Alpine Centre to put on a series of timed events; on four Sunday mornings over the winter months. This is great fun for everyone but also an excellent way to prepare for the inter-schools race in the spring, the English Schools events next year and the coming summer race series.
Junior and adult members and associate members are welcome to enter.
As for last year, the overall prizes will be calculated on the best 3 from 4 times.

Times / Dates: Sunday mornings 09:00 to 11:00, as follows
Program: Warm-up time followed by timed runs through a course on the main slope. Each skier’s best time will be recorded on a certificate of achievement awarded at the end of series prize-giving after the final race.
The League: The League will consist of four separate events. The best single run time from each event will be carried forward to an end of season total, from which winners in each age group will be calculated. The end of season total will be the aggregate of the best 3 times from 4 (a minimum of 3 events are required therefore to qualify for the league awards). If you can't make the minimum number you will still be welcome at those you can do and will still get your certificate. Cost: £10 per event to all club members, associate members and guests. Eligibility: Anyone who can safely negotiate the main slope will be able to enter. Age-groups: End-of-series prizes will be awarded in the following categories: U9, U11, U13, U15, U18, Senior/Master (ages as at the final event date – 26 Feb 2011). |
